Frosty Basil Lemonade

The Frosty Basil Lemonade Recipe is the perfect addition to a hot summer day of pool lounging or kids playing outside.  You can really have fun with this version of lemonade.  Try adding a splash of spirits for a mixed drink at the barbeque or cookout, then top with a mint sprig and striped straw. Or, pour into popsicle molds ahead of time, then serve to the kids when they come in from outside begging for a popsicle.  The Frosty Basil Lemonade Recipe pops also make a fun treat at birthday parties and showers.  To make them look a little more organic (think the professional chef version), add the basil after you’ve blended all ingredients for one minute.  Blend in the Vitamix or Blendtec until the basil is in small pieces but not entirely pureed.  Your guests will love the pops of unexpected basil flavor in the Frosty Basil Lemonade Recipe!
