  1. 1 lemon
  2. 2 fennel stalks with fronds
  3. 2-inch piece ginger
  4. 2 cups pineapple chunks
  5. 1/2 cup sunflower sprouts
  6. 1 cup coconut water
  7. 2 dashes turmeric
  8. 1 or 2 pinches cayenne (to taste)
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
1.  Squeeze the lemon into 2 glasses.

2.  Place the fennel, ginger, pineapple, lemon juice, coconut water and sprouts in the Vitamix or Blendtec and blend on high until the consistency is smooth.

3.  Pour into two glasses, filling half way and add a sprinkling of turmeric and cayenne.

The Peggy K pineapple fennel detox juice recipe is great to experiment with.  You can add more or less ginger, depending on your tastes.  Or, you can add in celery, apples, bok choy, beets, cucumbers or whatever floats your boat!  If serving up to guests, add a lemon slice to the edge of the glass with a straw.  Or, reserve a few fennel fronds and stick them in the top alongside the straw.  The options are endless!  Since it’s quick and easy to make this recipe in your Vitamix or Blendtec blender, you can experiment easily and often with whole foods which means less prep time.
