Glow Juice Green Smoothie Recipe by Daphne Oz
Everyone seems to have their own version of the green beverage, and for good reason, a healthy blend of greens is nutrient dense and a powerful addition to your diet. This version, by Daphne Oz, is called Glow Juice; with alkalizing vegetables, the intention is that a daily glass of this blend will help you lose weight, brighten your eyes, clarify your complexion, and prevent cancer. While she was working on losing the baby weight, Daphne would blend a glass of this every morning. Have you seen that woman? She glows! A fresh granny smith apple adds just enough sweetness to balance the vegetable blend, and fresh mint adds a surprisingly fresh flavor. These ingredients can be juiced in any high powered juicer, or for the added benefit of dietary fiber, we recommend the blended version which can be easily done using a Vitamix or a Blendtec blender.
