- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup frozen spinach
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened, shredded coconut
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 cup ice
- 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips or carob chips
- 1. Put all ingredients except for the chocolate chips in your blender jar.
- 2. Blendtec blender: Press the Whole Juice button, or let the blender run on a high speed for around 1 minute or until liquified.
- 3. Vitamix blender: Turn the knob to Whole Juice and flip the on switch. If you don’t have the automatic preset then start on speed 1/low, slowly turn the knob to speed 10, then flip it to high. Let it run for around 1 minute.
- 4. Add the chocolate chips and pulse just long enough to coarsely chop and disperse them through the blend.
- 5. Pour into two tall, frosty glasses.
